One Business Day Processing on Most In-Stock Orders

We know you want your order fast. That's why we strive to ship most orders stocked in our warehouse within one business day. See the "usually leaves warehouse in" text on the product description for specifics. Note some items are shipped directly from the manufacturer and may take longer for processing. 

If you place your order on Friday through Sunday, we will strive to ship your order on Monday.  For orders placed on Monday through Thursday, we will strive to ship them on the following business day, e.g. an order placed on Monday will be shipped on Tuesday.

Our web site strives for accuracy in our stock levels, but occasionally there may be errors or discrepancies and an item may not be in stock even if the web site shows it to be in stock. In this case, you will not be charged (or the charge will be refunded) and you can either choose an alternate item, or cancel the order.

Shipping Methods

Almost all orders over $100 ship free to contiguous US destinations!  Free In Store Pickup on most items, no minimum order!

All items have a "Shipping Estimate" at the bottom of their page, which provides an estimate of shipping costs for that item to your zip code.

We ship via UPS, and we also have a Value Shipping option that is often cheaper than UPS, but may take an extra few days.  For Free Shipping over $100, you must select the Value Shipping option. Note that Free Shipping is to the contiguous United States only (we cannot offer free shipping to Hawaii and Alaska, unfortunately) and a few items do not qualify for free shipping - this is noted in the description text. Free shipping is over $100 for each shipping location.

We also offer Free In store pickup, and Local Delivery (potentially same day) for most items if you are local to us. 

We ship via UPS to destinations within the United States.  At this time, we offer UPS Ground, 3 Day Select, plus 2 Day Air.  We only ship out on Monday through Friday and do not ship out on Holidays.

Most orders are shipped from our stores in Menlo Park or Los Altos, California, but some larger items may be shipped directly from the factory. For orders from our store, you can find a UPS Ground time in transit map below.

We can ship to Canada via UPS Standard to Canada, but note that UPS will charge an additional fee for customs clearance, which covers customs brokerage charges, duties, and taxes.  This will be collected by UPS and is not under our control. Note that the Value Standard shipping, and free shipping over $100, is not available to Canada: please select UPS Standard to Canada.

At this time, we cannot ship to countries other than the United States and Canada. 

Tax Rates

Sales tax at the rate of 9.375% will automatically be added to any order for local pickup, delivery, or shipment within the state of California.  

UPS Time in Transit Map

Below is a Time in Transit Map for UPS Ground shipments. Transit days are normal business days (Monday through Friday) and may exclude holidays. Note this is time in transit after the Processing Time.  An order placed on Monday, shipped on Tuesday, with a 2 day in transit shipping time, will arrive on Thursday.
