Shipping policy

We have 2 Shipping options, plus In Store Pickup and Local Delivery.

Our web site strives for accuracy in our stock levels, but occasionally there may be errors or discrepancies and an item may not be in stock even if the web site shows it to be in stock. In this case, we will contact you and you will not be charged (or the charge will be refunded) and you can either choose an alternate item, or cancel the order.

Order Status/Tracking

You can use the order status page which is included automatically in your order confirmation emails. You can also log in to your customer account to view detailed order status and tracking information if applicable.

Shipping Information

Eligible items ship free on orders over $100 with the Economy shipping option! 

We ship via UPS, with Ground, 3 Day Select, or 2 Day Air service. Note there is also a 1 business day processing time.

We also have an Economy shipping option, which can take up to 5-8 business days, but may be quicker if the destination is close to us. 

These options and their costs will be shown on checkout. There are a few items that are ineligible to be shipped, and shipping options will not be shown - you must select In Store Pickup or Local Delivery.

In Store Pickup

Please wait until you are notified that your order is ready before arriving. Orders may take up to 24 hours to be ready, although they will often be finished sooner. Orders with items that need to be transferred from our other store may take additional time.

We are proud to offer free In Store pickup for most in stock items. 

You can see likely item availability per store in the details about an item. You can order items not available at a particular location for In Store Pickup, but it may take additional time for items to be transferred and the order to be ready.

To pick up your order you will need to bring your drivers license or other form of government issued photo ID. If you wish to have someone else pick up the order, please note this in the comment field.  They will need to bring their photo ID.

If the store is closed for a holiday, In store pickup items will be held until the next open day. 

Local Delivery

Local Delivery is free on orders over $75, and $10 for orders under $75. Delivery can take up to 3 Business Days during busy times, but will often be quicker. Deliveries are Monday-Friday only.

We deliver in approximately a 5 mile radius around our Menlo Park store, and 1 mile around our Los Altos store. If your address is within our delivery zone, this option will appear on checkout. If the option does not appear, the address is outside of our delivery zone.

Deliveries will be placed in a safe location - if you want it dropped off with a neighbor or similar, let us know in the notes, as well as any other delivery information.
