In Store Pickup Options & Procedures

Free In Store Pickup on most items!

We are proud to offer free In Store pickup for most in stock items. A few of our items ship directly from the manufacturer and are thus ineligible for In Store Pickup. These items will have "No In Store Pickup" in the Item Description.   
 
Our web site strives for accuracy in our stock levels, but occasionally  there may be errors or discrepancies and an item may not be in stock even if the web site shows it to be in stock. In this case, you will not be charged (or the charge will be refunded) and you can either choose an alternate item, or cancel the order.
 
If the store is closed for a holiday, In store pickup items will be held until the next open day. 
 
We have 2 options for In Store Pickup:
 

In Store Pickup

This is a free option.  After your order is processed, you will receive an email that your order is ready for In Store Pickup.  Valid orders will be ready in 24 hours from when the order is placed - and most often sooner. If we have a problem with your order or payment, the ready time may take longer as needed to resolve the problem. Please wait for the email confirmation that your item is ready before picking up your order.  
 
The process for in store pickup:
 
1. Place your order online.  
 
2. You will receive an email confirmation that we received the order. Please add " This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it " to your address book to ensure that you receive the email.
 
3.  We will verify your order is correct and all items are in stock. If there is a problem, we will contact you to resolve the problem.
 
4.  We will send you a Ready for Pickup email letting you know your order is ready to be picked up.
 
5. Once you receive the Ready for Pickup email, at your convenience, come by the store.
 
To pick up your order you will need to bring your drivers licence or other form of government issued photo ID. 
 
If you wish to have someone else pick up the order, please note this in the comment field (on page 4 of the checkout process).  They will need to bring their photo ID.
 

Curbside Pickup: we are now offering complimentary Curbside Pickup. We will deliver your order out to your car so you do not even have to come into the store!  If possible, please note in the order comments that you would like this service - this is not mandatory, but helps us plan.  After you have received your "Ready for Pickup" email message, please give us a call (650-328-7975) with a time frame when you will arrive.  When you arrive outside the store, please call us again and let us know you are ready. Please provide us with your name, order number, and make and color of your car.  Please allow up to 10 minutes for us to deliver your package to your car, depending on our available staff.
 
 
Rush  Pickup Order
 
This option is $3, regardless of how many items you order. Order by 10am (PST) and your order will be ready for in-store pickup by 1pm PST (we close at 7pm on weekdays, 6pm on Saturday and 5pm on Sunday).  Note that if you do not pick up by closing time, we will hold your items until whenever you can pick them up, but the rush order charge is not refundable.
 
If you pick this option, please be alert to your email and phone numbers so that we may contact you quickly if there is any problem with your order. If we have a problem with your order or payment, your order may not be ready by 1pm. Please call or wait for the email confirmation that your item is ready before coming to pick up your order.  You may also take advantage of our curbside pickup with this option.
 
The process for rush pickup:
 
1. Place your order online by 10am PST.
